History of Luxury Sky Group

Luxury Sky Group N.V. is the result of the shared vision, entrepreneurship, and partnership between Vikash  and Dr. Van Dun.

The story began in 2010, when Dr. Van Dun moved from Europe to Suriname. After a successful career, he recognized opportunities in Suriname's gold sector and spent many years building experience within the mining industry.

In 2018, Dr. Van Dun expanded his activities into real estate by founding Glory Apartments, a project that would become the foundation for future developments. The success of Glory Apartments demonstrated the growing demand for high-quality accommodations in the southern part of Paramaribo.

In 2019, a strategically located property along Sahidweg was acquired. During the preparation and development of this project, Dr. Van Dun met Mr. Vikash  What started as a business relationship soon developed into a strong partnership based on trust, ambition, and a shared vision for the future.

In 2020, construction began on the first apartment building. Shortly afterward, an adjacent property was acquired with plans to develop a swimming pool and additional recreational facilities. This officially laid the foundation for what would later become Luxury Sky Group N.V.

Growth continued in 2021 when additional land was acquired next to the project, creating new opportunities for expansion and further development of the Luxury Sky Residence complex.

In 2023, a major milestone was achieved with the development of Luxury Sky Resort. The resort introduced a commercial swimming pool, sauna, recreational facilities, and event space, creating a unique destination where accommodation, relaxation, and recreation come together.

In 2024, the company invested further in growth by acquiring additional land and starting the development of Luxury Sky Fitness, a modern fitness and wellness facility that complements the group's existing services.

Under the leadership of Vikash as Director and together with partner Dr. Van Dun, Luxury Sky Group continues to invest in quality, innovation, and sustainable growth.

The Future: 2027 – 2030

Following the successful development of Luxury Sky Residence, Luxury Sky Resort, and Luxury Sky Fitness, Luxury Sky Group is focused on its next phase of expansion.

Between 2027 and 2030, the company plans to develop a modern hotel at the same location. The hotel will target international business travelers, oil and gas companies, tourists, long-stay guests, and corporate delegations.
 

In addition, Luxury Sky Group is exploring opportunities to expand into international trade, with a particular focus on business relationships and imports from China and Japan.

Through these developments, Luxury Sky Group aims to create a complete hospitality, lifestyle, and business destination where accommodation, recreation, wellness, fitness, dining, and business services come together in one location.
 

Timeline

2010 – Dr. Van Dun moves from Europe to Suriname.
